Nerja is beautiful authentic Spanish town – no high-rise buildings – at the famous Costa del Sol. It used to be a fishermen’s town and has cute small streets with many (tapas) bars and restaurants. The Balcón de Europa, part of the old settlement of the year 90 (!) is part of the city centre and forms a promenade on top of the cliff with beautiful views of the coast.
With over 300 days of sun, the climate in Nerja is known as the best in Europe. You can enjoy the terraces and beaches pretty much all year round. Nerja is surrounded by beautiful nature and close to some of the highlights in Andalusia. You should have been there!
